Since 1992, Marlene has worked in audiovisual and stage art design for theater, audiovisual media, film, advertising and TV, for both the local and international market.

His training shapes the style of his professional career.
She studied at the Prilidiano Pueyrredón School of Arts in Argentina and later at NYU Tisch School of Arts in the United States. She attended workshops led by Luis Felipe Noé, Ernesto Levin, and Luis Diego Pedreira, among others. She also produces visual art, including drawings, illustrations, and installations.

She directs and produces audiovisual documentary essays based on her biographical universe. Her project "818 Tong Shan Road," a short documentary about her family history, has received international awards for its contribution to memory, resilience, and the defense of human rights.

In the educational field, Marlene teaches courses and masterclasses at universities and educational institutions.

She is a member of ADEA and a founding member of AADA (Argentine Association of Audiovisual Art Directors), in whose projects she actively collaborates.
